Why Dozi exists
Many families already have an older iPhone or iPad at home. Dozi lets that device become useful again as a nursery camera, without requiring a separate hardware baby monitor for everyday home use.
The product is intentionally focused: pair two Apple devices, start a live monitor, and keep the setup understandable. That makes Dozi a good fit for parents who want fewer dedicated gadgets and fewer cloud services around a nursery.
Privacy principles
- No account is required to use the app.
- Dozi does not record nursery sessions.
- Dozi does not store video, audio, or images on Dozi servers.
- Live monitoring is protected with end-to-end encryption.
- The app does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Read the full private baby monitor guide for more detail on encryption, no cloud recording, and remote monitoring.
Free local monitoring and optional remote access
Dozi is free for monitoring over your home WiFi. Premium supports remote monitoring over 5G, LTE, or another WiFi network, which helps cover the infrastructure needed to connect devices outside the home network.
This split keeps the everyday home use case simple while still supporting families who need a live view from outside the house. The free WiFi guide explains local monitoring, and the 5G remote monitoring guide explains when Premium helps.
What Dozi is not
Dozi is not a cloud recording service and does not pretend to provide infrared night vision. It focuses on live private monitoring, clear setup, and practical behavior on the Apple devices families already understand.
Support
For setup help, pairing issues, local network permission problems, or remote monitoring questions, visit Dozi Support, read the iPhone setup guide, or email support@dozibabymonitor.app.
Support requests are handled through the Dozi support email so families have a clear place to ask about setup, permissions, device placement, connectivity, and privacy questions.
