Set up Dozi on two Apple devices
- Install Dozi on the iPhone or iPad that will stay in the nursery.
- Install Dozi on the device you will keep with you as the parent monitor.
- Choose Nursery Camera on the nursery device and Parent Monitor on the other device.
- Scan the QR code shown on the nursery device to create a secure paired connection.

Local WiFi monitoring
Free monitoring works over your home WiFi network. If pairing or video does not start, confirm both devices are connected to the same WiFi network and that Local Network permission is allowed in iOS Settings. For more detail, read the free WiFi baby monitor guide.
Remote monitoring over 5G or another network
Premium enables monitoring when the parent device is outside the home network, including 5G, LTE, or another WiFi network. Remote monitoring may use signaling and relay infrastructure to help devices connect, but Dozi is not designed to store nursery video or audio on our servers.

Dark room camera behavior
Dozi can brighten and enhance the camera image in a dim nursery, but it does not use infrared night vision. A very dark room may still look dark. A small dim night light can improve visibility without changing how the app connects.
Connection troubleshooting
- Keep both devices plugged in for long monitoring sessions.
- Check camera, microphone, notification, and local network permissions.
- Move the nursery device closer to the WiFi router if video freezes.
- Restart both devices if the QR pairing flow stalls.
- For remote monitoring, confirm the Premium subscription is active.
